A vital aid
to prevent hypothermia during anaesthesia that will consistently
maintain fluid temperature during infusions. The Li-fort can be used
with virtually any giving set with a o.d. of between 4 and 5mm. The
unit is supplied with a hanging strap to enable it to
be attached
to a transfusion stand hook.
Warming performance
Heat is
conducted from the groove of the heating plate to the fluid inside
the tube. The temperature of the heating plate is always controlled
at 46oC by the temperature sensors. Typically this means that the
fluid is warmed to approximately 30ºC to 41ºC dependant on
the flow rate, tube length and ambient temperature.
Flowrate
range 0 to 7ml/min.
Safety Mechanism
1)
Temperature sensors monitor the temperature of the heating plate and
the fluid to prevent overheating.
2) Secondary
thermostatic fuse cuts off the power supply if the temperature
sensores do not work.
Power requirements
Supplied with
a 3 metre mains cable. 220-240v AC 50/60Hz
