The debate concerning the prospect of litigation as a result of cross infection goes on. Most, if not all UK authoritative bodies recommend integral printers or process evaluation. Unlike other bench top autoclaves, the Instaclave printer is unique.

Developed in conjunction with several Major NHS establishments who were seeking to comply fully with current guidelines were unable to find a suitable solution from other manufacturers. It is the only integrally fitted printer to offer truly independant monitoring of the sterilizing cycle. The printer is both silent in operation and totally independant of the sterilizers temperature controls. Fully programmable; your practice details including name and address will be printed on each report. Time spent by users performing daily manual checks are no longer necessary!

The printer monitors the performance of the autoclave and confirms that temperature and sterilizing parameters are within regulatory limites. Confirmation of an effective sterilizing cycle is indicated by a Pass Cycle Report. Deviation from regulatory limits is indicated by a Failed Cycle Report.

The data output by the printer can be transfered directly to a PC and has been successfully integrated into fully traceable bar coded instrument systems.

The evaluator system can either be fitted at the factory from new or retrofitted at a later date.

Optional non recycle water system

Endotoxins found in the reservoirs of bench top sterilizers as a result of recycling used water are known to adversely affect the healing process.

Using clean, fresh water for each cycle reduces accumulation of contaminents and the build up of biofilms in the water reservoir. Unlike other systems, Instaclave completely re-condenses used water safely and quickly into a seperate internal reservoir. This eliminates the risk of user injury when steam is discharged into an external water bottle. If preferred, the internal reservoir can empty into a suitable drain or optional easily emptied external overflow vessel that features an automatic shut off to prevent overfilling. The external overflow vessel can be hidden out of sight in a cupboard without the fear of spillage. When the bottle is full the instaclave will let you know!

Draining the integrally fitted clean and used water reservoirs is quickly achieved by connecting the supplied drain tube to the appropriate drain port that is fitted with a quick release connector.
