On Site Servicing: Autoclaves "Autoclaves can cause injury to users - regular maintenance and statutory inspections are legal requirements." Steam autoclaves are treated as "pressure vessels" under "The Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000". This means that there is a legal responsibility for surgeries to have autoclaves "adequately maintained" and to have them inspected as pressure vessels. Documentary evidence of maintenance and inspection must be kept. As part of the service / inspection of your autoclave we will provide a service and inspection certificate which can be used as the written scheme of inspection. The certificate details the major components of the autoclave which have been examined and tested and any comments noted by the engineer about specific components or the general condition of the autoclave. Prices start from as little as £76.15 plus parts, please contact our Service Department for pricing information on specific models that we service. |
